What We Do

We want to see a more inclusive and equitable industry, and we continue to use our resources to do this. Here are some of the things we are doing.

We work with local colleges to give film students the opportunity to come to Nara Park and our Scan facility at Pinewood to shadow each of our departments and get some hands on work experience.

We provide support, advice, and discounts to up and coming film makers and film and TV students on their projects, especially if it’s their first venture, to help individuals get a foot in the door.

We are committed to using our resources responsibly, through renewable energy, recycling, and repurposing and donating of unneeded kit.

Digital Orchard annually do a mental health risk assessment to help guide how we can take actions to improve the culture within our company.

We aim to use our our platforms on social media, our network of contacts, and our experience in our relevant fields to empower others in all we do.

You can see more about what we do on our Digital Orchard Foundation page.

What does it mean that we are B Corp certified?

Achieving B Corp certification means we have met high standards of social and environmental performance. We measured our impact to our employees, community, clients, and the environment. We looked at ways to improve and implemented them. Finally, we were assessed by B Lab, the network behind B Corp, and became B Corp certified. This continues to be a process of ongoing assessment as we seek to improve our impact.
