Macaulay Carr Digital Imaging Technician
An avid problem solver, Mac is at his best when the pressure is on. He was drawn to working in film and television through his interest in the creative and technical aspects of the industry. Mac is very much a team player, embracing collaboration and taking on additional tasks to develop new skills. He believes in maintaining a positive attitude whilst under pressure and boosting team morale wherever he can.
Through Digital Orchard, Mac has had the opportunity to work across both Video and DIT departments on a range of features and HETV dramas, gaining invaluable experience on-set. Mac has worked with studios such as CBS UK, Sid Gentle Films, Dignity Productions Ltd and towards the end of 2021 he was able to achieve his personal goal of working on HBO’S House of the Dragon.
Looking forward, Mac aims to continue to develop his current skill set, focusing on progressing in the DIT department and gaining additional technical knowledge that will allow him to progress further into assistant roles.
