Nathan Morgan Digital Imaging Technician

Nathan Morgan is a Manchester based DIT/Data Manager with over 5 years’ experience. Nathan has had a keen interest in film and television from a young age and went on to study Film & TV Production in 2013. Post University, Nathan worked as a runner for various television dramas. This ignited his passion for the technical side of developing shows and feature films, following which Nathan went on to secure various Data Wrangler roles (including a Crime Documentary for Channel 5) before focusing more on Data Management since 2020. In 2022 to 2023 Nathan took part in BFI x ScreenSkills course to learn what a Near-Set DIT does in the Film & TV industry.

Nathan gained an avid interest in the role of a DIT and continues to develop his skills and abilities in this field, including offloading and transcoding, as well proficiency with Silverstack and Davinci Resolve.

With over 5 years’ experience of working in studio and on location for various documentaries and entertainment across a range of genres and production sizes (including projects for Netflix, Disney Plus Amazon, Channel 4 & BBC), Nathan is able work collaboratively on TV dramas, feature films and commercials and support clients to capture their vision and achieve the creative goals of their projects.

Nathan is a team player and loves to work alongside fellow crew members, providing technical support with a positive and friendly ‘can-do’ attitude. Nathan is experienced with working well under pressure, can adapt to different ways of working and has excellent troubleshooting abilities. Outside of film and television Nathan has a keen interest in photography.
