Matt Cooper Video Assistant
With a first-class media degree from Bournemouth university and a background in small-scale production and post-production, Matt started as a trainee in August 2021 and quickly established himself as a reliable assistant with a keen desire to continue learning
Variety and the opportunity for new challenges remains the driving force behind Matt’s educational and career choices. Matt relishes troubleshooting on the fly in the fast-paced environment on set. Ensuring other departments get the picture needed to keep operations running smoothly on the floor has the added benefit of getting to know the crew properly!
Matt’s current goals are to continue mastering the Q-Take software, building up to more advanced camera outputs such as pre-vis mix and overlay, which he has a particular interest in
